FREE 3 hr introduction to playing Shakespeare with award winning Royal Shakespeare Company actor, Simon Trinder.
The session is aimed at amateurs, student and professional actors over 17 years old, is guaranteed to grow you and will be a high energy, super practical intro to approaching Shakespeare’s verse providing a solid and reliable toolkit based on RSC and Globe theatre practice. There is no experience necessary and you need never be nervous about Shakespeare again!

About the Company
Simon has worked extensively with the RSC since 2002 receiving the Clarence Derwent Award and a nomination for the Helen Hayes Award USA. He recently completed his 13th production with the company playing Trinculo in their groundbreaking production of The Tempest starring Simon Russell Beale.
He was the first actor to play Puck at Shakespeare’s Globe and can be seen playing Puck in the BBC Documentary In Search Of Shakespeare. Simon was in the original Hollow Crown series on Richard 2nd for the BBC and played Caliban to Pete Postlethwaites Prospero in Manchester Royal Exchange’s critically acclaimed production of The Tempest in 2007. Television include’s Midwinter Of The Spirit, Ordinary Lies Season 2 and Katy for CBBC.
